Nyambura Esther Onyango

Coached cross country for 26 years in Zanzibar City

  • 🇹🇿 Zanzibar City, Zanzibar Urban/West, Tanzania
  • Zanzibar City Athletic Club
  • 1983 to 2009
  • English, French
I'm a cross country coach. I never went pro, but I got to see 490 kids fall in love with the game. My best seasons were the ones we lost most games and still showed up every Tuesday. I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.

More about Nyambura

If you played for me, you probably remember the snow day nobody expected.

What gifts mean to Nyambura: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.
