Nyambura Akello Kamau
Classical player and teacher in Nairobi
- 🇰🇪 Nairobi, Nairobi, Kenya
- Nairobi Quartet
- Since 1987
- English, Swahili
I play classical and tabla. I started in 1987 with a secondhand instrument and a lot of stubbornness.
I never rush a conversation.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Nyambura
I write my first song when I was 22. It was terrible and I still love it.
What gifts mean to Nyambura: A gift would go toward new strings, repairs and music for my students.
