I've worked in painting and decorating from 1989 to 2007. I learned from my older brother and passed what I could on to 900 apprentices.
Apprentices come in nervous and leave proud. That's my favorite part. I carry a notebook everywhere.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
