Nuwan Karunaratne

Mural painting artist in Colombo

🇱🇰 Colombo, Western, Sri Lanka
The Colombo Art Collective
Since 1984
English, Sinhala

I got into mural painting as a hobby and somewhere along the way it became the thing I do every day. I also teach a weekly class at The Colombo Art Collective, which keeps me honest. I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.

More about Nuwan

I've had 6 small exhibitions over the years. My favorite was the one with the worst lighting.

What gifts mean to Nuwan: I'd put a gift toward a kiln repair. It's been a long time coming.
