Nuria S. Fernández

Self-taught ceramics artist

  • 🇲🇽 Iztapalapa, Ciudad de México, Mexico
  • Iztapalapa Pottery
  • Since 2010
  • English, Spanish
I work mostly in ceramics, sometimes textiles. My first show was in 2010 at Iztapalapa Pottery, and nobody came except my family and one confused dog. I also teach a weekly class at Iztapalapa Pottery, which keeps me honest. I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.

What gifts mean to Nuria: I'd put a gift toward a kiln repair. It's been a long time coming.
