Nuria B. Pérez
Master of pottery, now teaching apprentices
- 🇲🇽 León, Guanajuato, Mexico
- The León Works
- Since 1996
- Spanish
I've worked in pottery since 1996. I learned from my older brother and passed what I could on to 1,320 apprentices.
The best compliment I ever got was a customer who called me back 23 years later for another job.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
What gifts mean to Nuria: I'd put gifts toward a new set of tools for the next apprentice.
