Nur Melek Başaran
Biology teacher at Cologne Middle School, 1981 to 1989
- 🇩🇪 Cologne, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany
- 1981 to 1989
- German
Cologne Middle School was my second home. I taught biology there from 1981 to 1989, mostly the final-year class.
My classroom was always a bit noisy, a bit untidy and usually full of people who came for the biscuits.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.
More about Nur
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Nur: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.
