Nur Fitria Simanjuntak
Mathematics teacher at Jakarta Academy, 2017 to 2025
- 🇮🇩 Jakarta, DKI Jakarta, Indonesia
- Jakarta Academy

For eight years I was the mathematics teacher at Jakarta Academy. I taught teenagers and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
I coached the school's basketball team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Nur
Teaching changed me more than I changed anyone, I think.

What gifts mean to Nur: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
