Novi Ratna Effendi

Thatching for 34 years in Surakarta

🇮🇩 Surakarta, Central Java, Indonesia
Since 1992
English

My trade is thatching. I opened my own shop in 1992 in Surakarta and I'm still there most mornings. I can still tell good work from rushed work from across the street. I garden badly but happily.

More about Novi

Some of my old apprentices now run their own shops. I couldn't be prouder.
