Novi Okta Halim
Master of baking, now teaching apprentices
- 🇮🇩 Jakarta Selatan, DKI Jakarta, Indonesia
- The Jakarta Selatan Trades Guild
- 2014 to 2023
- English
I've worked in baking from 2014 to 2023. I learned from my father and passed what I could on to 390 apprentices.
The best compliment I ever got was a customer who called me back 10 years later for another job.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Novi
If I fixed something for you, I hope it's still holding.
Crafts and trades
What gifts mean to Novi: I'd put gifts toward a new set of tools for the next apprentice.
