I taught religious studies at Jakarta Selatan Boys' School in Jakarta Selatan from 1985 to 2005. Most days I taught the final-year class, and I wrote a short note to every student at the end of term.
I ran the homework club after school and some of my proudest moments happened there. I fix old bicycles.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
