I coached rugby at Jakarta Andes Swimming Club from 1986 to 2002. Most of my players were between 8 and 13, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I played music while people worked.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Novi
If you played for me, you probably remember the day we all got the giggles in assembly.
What gifts mean to Novi: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.
