Novi Citra Hutapea
Master of auto repair, now teaching apprentices
- 🇮🇩 Jakarta, DKI Jakarta, Indonesia
- Jakarta Trades Guild
- 2003 to 2023
- English, Indonesian
My trade is auto repair. I opened my own shop in 2003 in Jakarta and I'm still there most mornings.
Apprentices come in nervous and leave proud. That's my favorite part. I try to remember everyone's name.

What gifts mean to Novi: I'd put gifts toward a new set of tools for the next apprentice.
