Novelette Burke
Self-taught mural painting artist
- 🇯🇲 Half-Way Tree, Saint Andrew, Jamaica
- Fairview Art Collective
- Since 1979
- English
I work mostly in mural painting, sometimes calligraphy. My first show was in 1979 at Fairview Art Collective, and nobody came except my family and one confused dog.
I also teach a weekly class at Fairview Art Collective, which keeps me honest.
More about Novelette
I've had 11 small exhibitions over the years. My favorite was the one with the worst lighting.
