Nova R. Lopez
Art teacher at Flint Grammar School, Since 1990

I teach art at Flint Grammar School in Flint since 1990. Most days I teach Year 7, and I keep a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
Over the years I've had 2,160 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
I'm still learning every day.
More about Nova
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.
What gifts mean to Nova: Any gift will help me keep tutoring for free.
