Noriko Misaki Sugiyama

Self-taught oil painting artist

  • 🇯🇵 Sakai, Osaka, Japan
  • Old Sakai Gallery
  • 2015 to 2025
  • Japanese, English
I work mostly in oil painting, sometimes street art. My first show was in 2015 at Old Sakai Gallery, and nobody came except my family and one confused dog. Most of my work is inspired by markets and street scenes. I'm always reading two books at once.

More about Noriko

I've had 7 small exhibitions over the years. My favorite was the one with the worst lighting.
