Noreen Saima Kazmi
Master of painting and decorating, now teaching apprentices
- 🇵🇰 Mardan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan
- Mardan Trades Guild
- Since 1999
- English, Punjabi
I've worked in painting and decorating since 1999. I learned from my grandfather and passed what I could on to 1,030 apprentices.
The best compliment I ever got was a customer who called me back 13 years later for another job.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Noreen
Some of my old apprentices now run their own shops. I couldn't be prouder.
Crafts and trades
What gifts mean to Noreen: I'd put gifts toward a new set of tools for the next apprentice.
