I taught geography at Hialeah Secondary School in Hialeah from 1993 to 2022. Most days I taught Grade 8, and I always had a bag of oranges in my drawer.
I coached the school's football team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Nora
Teaching changed me more than I changed anyone, I think.
