Nora R. King
Volunteer mentor with Parkside Foundation
- 🇺🇸 Riverside, California, United States
- 1978 to 2009
- English, Spanish
For 31 years I've mentored people in nursing and finance. Mostly it's coffee, honest feedback and a lot of listening.
I stayed late on Thursdays for anyone who needed it.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Nora
Some of my mentees now mentor others. That's how it's meant to work.
Areas of mentoring
What gifts mean to Nora: I'd put gifts toward travel for in-person sessions with students.

You helped me get my first nursing job in 1985. I still have your notes. Thank you again.
