Nora P. Pierce

Martial arts and fitness coach, Aurora

  • 🇺🇸 Aurora, Illinois, United States
  • Aurora Swimming Club
  • Since 1988
  • English
I've coached martial arts at Aurora Swimming Club since 1988. Most of my players were between 10 and 15, and a lot of them turned into friends for life. Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I write a short note to every student at the end of term. I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.

What gifts mean to Nora: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.
