38 years teaching home economics in San Diego

For eight years I was the home economics teacher at Silverlake Primary School. I taught Grade 11 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
My classroom was always a bit noisy, a bit untidy and usually full of people who came for the biscuits.
I'm still learning every day.
More about Nora
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Nora: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.
