For 38 years I was the environmental science teacher at San Jose Primary School. I taught teenagers and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Outside the classroom I sing in a choir. Inside it, I answered every email, even at midnight.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.

What gifts mean to Nora: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
