Noor Mona Hamid
Self-taught mural painting artist
- 🇪🇬 Shubra, Cairo, Egypt
- The Phoenix Print Workshop
- Since 1998
- English, Arabic
I'm a mural painting artist based in Shubra. I've been making things since 1998 and I still get excited when a new batch of materials arrives.
I like to keep things simple and honest. My studio is always a bit of a mess.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Noor
If you've bought a piece of mine, thank you. It's on someone's wall and that still amazes me.
What gifts mean to Noor: I'd put a gift toward a kiln repair. It's been a long time coming.

I bought one of your pieces in 2018. It's still the first thing I see in the morning. Greetings from Embakasi.
