Nonso Sani Ekwueme

Painter, potter and teacher at The Ikeja Studio

  • 🇳🇬 Ikeja, Lagos, Nigeria
  • The Ikeja Studio
  • Since 1997
  • English
I'm a mural painting artist based in Ikeja. I've been making things since 1997 and I still get excited when a new batch of materials arrives. I also teach a weekly class at The Ikeja Studio, which keeps me honest. I'm still learning every day.

More about Nonso

I've had 11 small exhibitions over the years. My favorite was the one with the worst lighting.

What gifts mean to Nonso: A gift would go toward materials for my next series.
