Nonso Samuel Okafor
Woodcarving artist in Badagry
- 🇳🇬 Badagry, Lagos, Nigeria
- Little Badagry Gallery
- Since 1980
- English, Hausa
I work mostly in woodcarving, sometimes street art. My first show was in 1980 at Little Badagry Gallery, and nobody came except my family and one confused dog.
I answer every message, eventually. My studio is always a bit of a mess.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Nonso
I've had 10 small exhibitions over the years. My favorite was the one with the worst lighting.
