Nonso Michael Kalu
Musician with Ikeja Orchestra
- 🇳🇬 Ikeja, Lagos, Nigeria
- Ikeja Orchestra
- Since 2002
- English
I play singing and jazz. I started in 2002 with a secondhand instrument and a lot of stubbornness.
I teach about 9 students a week. Some of them are better than me now, which is the whole point. I garden badly but happily.
What gifts mean to Nonso: Any gift will help me keep teaching kids who can't afford lessons.

I still have the recording from that night at Ikeja Orchestra! Truly.
