Nonso Garba Jimoh

Youth cross country coach and mentor

  • 🇳🇬 Badagry, Lagos, Nigeria
  • Badagry Youth Club
  • Since 1986
  • English
For 40 years I've run the cross country program at Badagry Youth Club in Badagry. We trained 2 evenings a week, whatever the weather. Practice always ended with the same rule: nobody walks home alone. I sing in a choir.

More about Nonso

Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.
