Nomsa T. Pillay
Self-taught oil painting artist
- 🇿🇦 Richards Bay, KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa
- The Richards Bay Studio
- 1985 to 1999

I got into oil painting as a hobby and somewhere along the way it became the thing I do every day.
Most of my work is inspired by folk tales I grew up with. I paint watercolors of whatever is outside the window.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Nomsa
I've had 3 small exhibitions over the years. My favorite was the one with the worst lighting.
What gifts mean to Nomsa: I'd put a gift toward a kiln repair. It's been a long time coming.
