Nomsa J. Pillay
Small business mentor, Soweto
- 🇿🇦 Soweto, Gauteng, South Africa
- Soweto Foundation
- 2009 to 2022
- English, Afrikaans
I started mentoring after a colleague did the same for me. Since then I've worked with 490 people through Soweto Foundation.
Most of my mentees are early in their careers. A few are in their fifties and starting over, and they're some of my favorites.
More about Nomsa
Some of my mentees now mentor others. That's how it's meant to work.
Areas of mentoring
What gifts mean to Nomsa: I'd put gifts toward travel for in-person sessions with students.
