Thatching, done properly
- 🇿🇦 Johannesburg, Gauteng, South Africa
- 2016 to 2024
- English, Afrikaans
I've worked in thatching from 2016 to 2024. I learned from my grandmother and passed what I could on to 180 apprentices.
I can still tell good work from rushed work from across the street. I garden badly but happily.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
Crafts and trades
What gifts mean to Nomsa: I'd put gifts toward a new set of tools for the next apprentice.
