Noman Jewel Sheikh
Professor of modern history, Pune University
- 🇮🇳 Pune, Maharashtra, India
- Pune University
- Since 1988
- English, Bengali
My subject is modern history, and for 38 years I get to share it with undergraduates at Pune University.
Former students now work as an accountant and in a dozen other fields. It's the best part of this job.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
What gifts mean to Noman: Any gift helps me keep buying books for students who can't afford them.
