Nolan Riley
English literature teacher at Leicester Boys' School, 1982 to 2016

For 34 years I was the English literature teacher at Leicester Boys' School. I taught Grade 11 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
I coached the school's cross-country squad for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.
More about Nolan
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Nolan: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
