Nolan N. Contreras
Spanish and drama teacher, Sydney
- 🇦🇺 Sydney, New South Wales, Australia
- Sydney Public School
- Since 2009
- English
I came to teaching late, after working as a shop assistant, and 17 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
I've run the reading group after school and some of my proudest moments happened there. I sing in a choir.
More about Nolan
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.
What gifts mean to Nolan: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.

You taught me Spanish in 2025 at Sydney Public School. I still remember the volcano experiment that got a bit out of hand Truly.
