I've volunteered with Highland Community Kitchen from 1987 to 2012. I started on a Saturday morning "just to help out" and never left.
I never rush a conversation. Small habits keep a team together.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Nolan
We run on goodwill and a very old kettle.
What gifts mean to Nolan: I'd put a gift toward transport for our volunteers.
