I've been a nurse for eight years, most of them in school nursing at Newcastle upon Tyne Clinic in Newcastle upon Tyne. Night shifts taught me patience, and patients taught me everything else.
The thing I'm proudest of is that families usually remember my name. I garden badly but happily.
