I've been a nurse for 16 years, most of them in pediatrics at Toronto Children's Hospital in Toronto. Night shifts taught me patience, and patients taught me everything else.
The thing I'm proudest of is that families usually remember my name. I garden badly but happily.
I'm still learning every day.
