Nokuthula N. Jones

Youth netball coach and mentor

  • 🇿🇦 Johannesburg, Gauteng, South Africa
  • Johannesburg Sports Club
  • 2000 to 2020
  • English, Zulu
I coached netball at Johannesburg Sports Club from 2000 to 2020. Most of my players were between 12 and 14, and a lot of them turned into friends for life. My best seasons were the ones we lost most games and still showed up every Tuesday. I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.

More about Nokuthula

I still keep the team photo from our best season on the wall.

You coached me in 2009. I still hear your voice on the sideline. Greetings from Heliopolis.
