For eight years I was the English literature teacher at Davao City Secondary School. I taught first-year students and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Over the years I had 290 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.

If you were in my first-year students class, you probably remember the surprise birthday cake.

What gifts mean to Noel: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
