I taught home economics at Lagos High School in Lagos from 2007 to 2019. Most days I taught the youngest children, and I wrote a short note to every student at the end of term.
Over the years I had 350 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Nneka
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the science museum, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.
