Nnamdi Lanre Bello
Musician with Port Harcourt Ensemble
- 🇳🇬 Port Harcourt, Rivers, Nigeria
- Port Harcourt Ensemble
- Since 1981
- English, Igbo
I play classical and accordion. I started in 1981 with a secondhand instrument and a lot of stubbornness.
I teach about 12 students a week. Some of them are better than me now, which is the whole point. I bake for the whole street at New Year.
More about Nnamdi
I write my first song when I was 19. It was terrible and I still love it.
What gifts mean to Nnamdi: A gift would go toward new strings, repairs and music for my students.
