Nnamdi Isaac Nwachukwu
Master of blacksmithing, now teaching apprentices
- 🇳🇬 Abuja, Abuja FCT, Nigeria
- Old Abuja Works
- Since 1990
- English
I've worked in blacksmithing since 1990. I learned from my grandfather and passed what I could on to 1,660 apprentices.
I can still tell good work from rushed work from across the street. I garden badly but happily.
More about Nnamdi
Some of my old apprentices now run their own shops. I couldn't be prouder.
Crafts and trades
What gifts mean to Nnamdi: A gift would go toward tools for apprentices who can't afford their own.

you fixed our roof in 1991 and charged half what others asked. Greetings from Alcalá de Henares.
