Nkechi Ronke Hassan
Master of shoemaking, now teaching apprentices
- 🇳🇬 Kano, Kano, Nigeria
- The Central Shop
- Since 2001
- English
I'm a shoemaking specialist. If you live around Kano, there's a good chance I've worked in a building near you.
Apprentices come in nervous and leave proud. That's my favorite part. I answer every message, eventually.
Thank you for stopping by.
More about Nkechi
Some of my old apprentices now run their own shops. I couldn't be prouder.
Crafts and trades
What gifts mean to Nkechi: A gift would go toward tools for apprentices who can't afford their own.
