Nkechi Modupe Tijani
Master of auto repair, now teaching apprentices
- 🇳🇬 Ogbomosho, Oyo, Nigeria
- Little Ogbomosho Repairs
- 1989 to 2015
- English, Igbo
I've worked in auto repair from 1989 to 2015. I learned from my older brother and passed what I could on to 1,120 apprentices.
Apprentices come in nervous and leave proud. That's my favorite part. I answer every message, eventually.
More about Nkechi
Some of my old apprentices now run their own shops. I couldn't be prouder.
Crafts and trades
What gifts mean to Nkechi: I'd put gifts toward a new set of tools for the next apprentice.
