Youth hockey coach and mentor
- 🇳🇬 Kano, Kano, Nigeria
- Kano Cedar Grove Youth Club
- Since 2014

For twelve years I've run the hockey program at Kano Cedar Grove Youth Club in Kano. We trained 3 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I answer every email, even at midnight.
I'm still learning every day.

I still keep the team photo from our best season on the wall.

What gifts mean to Nkechi: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.
