23 years teaching music in Port Harcourt
- 🇳🇬 Port Harcourt, Rivers, Nigeria
- Port Harcourt Middle School

I taught music at Port Harcourt Middle School in Port Harcourt from 1999 to 2009. Most days I taught teenagers, and I stayed late on Thursdays for anyone who needed it.
Over the years I had 530 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Nkechi
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Nkechi: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
