Nkechi Esther Alabi
Painter, potter and teacher at Little Benin City Gallery
- 🇳🇬 Benin City, Edo, Nigeria
- 1982 to 1994
- English
I work mostly in watercolor, sometimes digital art. My first show was in 1982 at Little Benin City Gallery, and nobody came except my family and one confused dog.
I also teach a weekly class at Little Benin City Gallery, which keeps me honest.
More about Nkechi
I've had 12 small exhibitions over the years. My favorite was the one with the worst lighting.
Mediums
What gifts mean to Nkechi: I'd put a gift toward a kiln repair. It's been a long time coming.
