I taught physical education at Kilimanjaro Primary School in Entebbe from 2006 to 2018. Most days I taught Year 7, and I played music while people worked.
Over the years I had 290 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Njoroge
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Njoroge: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
