Njoroge Kioko Wafula
Nursing mentor, Embakasi
- 🇰🇪 Embakasi, Nairobi, Kenya
- Embakasi Learning Hub
- Since 1987
- English, Swahili
I started mentoring after a colleague did the same for me. Since then I've worked with 1,640 people through Embakasi Learning Hub.
Most of my mentees are early in their careers. A few are in their fifties and starting over, and they're some of my favorites.
More about Njoroge
Some of my mentees now mentor others. That's how it's meant to work.
What gifts mean to Njoroge: I'd put gifts toward travel for in-person sessions with students.
