Bicycle repair, done properly
- 🇺🇬 Kampala, Central Region, Uganda
- Old Kampala Workshop
- Since 2016
- English, Swahili
I've worked in bicycle repair since 2016. I learned from my uncle and passed what I could on to 480 apprentices.
Apprentices come in nervous and leave proud. That's my favorite part. I carry a notebook everywhere.
More about Njoroge
Some of my old apprentices now run their own shops. I couldn't be prouder.
Crafts and trades
What gifts mean to Njoroge: I'd put gifts toward a new set of tools for the next apprentice.
