Njeri Nabirye Mwangi
Youth chess coach and mentor
- 🇺🇬 Mukono, Central Region, Uganda
- Since 2010
- English, Swahili, Spanish
For 16 years I've run the chess program at Mukono Cedar Grove Youth Club in Mukono. We trained 2 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
My best seasons were the ones we lost most games and still showed up every Tuesday.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.

What gifts mean to Njeri: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.
